How to use thermal transfer ink?

Sublimation transfer printing refers to printing Sublimation Ink onto Sublimation Paper (or plastic film) through an offset printing or gravure printing machine, and then overlapping the printed paper (or film) with the fabric to heat and pressurize it. The dye on the paper (or film) sublimates into a gas phase state and is transferred to fabrics, such as sportswear, packaging bags, non-woven fabrics, swimsuits, cultural shirts, etc. In addition to fabrics, it can also be transferred to ceramics (such as cups, plates, ceramic tiles), wood, chemical fibers, glass, plastics and metal products (the surface needs to be coated with acrylic drying paint). Its main feature is that the transferred image is brightly colored and rich in layers, and the effect is comparable to printing. The difference from printing is that the dye in the transfer ink sublimates when heated, penetrates into the molecular structure of the object, and forms a brightly colored image after sublimation. The image will not peel off, crack or fade, and is resistant to sunlight, so sublimation heat transfer products have the advantage of being durable.
There are four printing methods for sublimation thermal transfer technology: gravure printing, lithography (offset printing), screen printing (silk screen printing) and digital printing. The production process can be divided into the following steps:
(1) Production of Heat Transfer Paper
The production process of thermal transfer printing paper is similar to the printing process, that is, text, pictures, photos and other original manuscripts are subjected to processes such as plate making, ink application, and pressurization, so that the sublimation thermal transfer ink is transferred to the thermal transfer printing paper through offset printing (or gravure printing, silk screen printing). on base paper. The base paper used for transfer printing should be paper that is resistant to high temperatures, heavy pressure, prevents bleeding, has high surface smoothness, low dye gas permeability and high tensile strength, such as copper paper, 80g offset paper, etc. The selection of sublimation thermal transfer ink is also a task that cannot be ignored. Whether the transferred image is bright and whether its friction resistance, fastness and adhesion are the strongest, the quality of sublimation thermal transfer ink plays a decisive role. .
Thermal transfer ink The sublimation thermal transfer ink developed by ourselves is made from some imported raw materials and is an environmentally friendly ink. It is suitable for printing on various domestic and imported offset printing machines. Its excellent performance has won unanimous praise from users all over the country.

(2) Transfer printing
Generally it can be divided into two categories. There are two types: one is intermittent type, generally called flat type; the other is continuous type, mainly hot roller type. Two types: one is pressurized; the other is decompressed, which is the so-called vacuum transfer printing that extracts air. Decompressed transfer printing is most suitable for deformed fabrics, raised fabrics and fabrics that are not resistant to high temperatures.
(3) List of temperatures required for thermal transfer printing

Thermal transfer printing is an emerging printing process. With the rapid development of high technology, thermal transfer printing technology is becoming more and more widely used due to its own advantages.
